Stop by the Sea Turtle Hospital to view recovering Leatherback, Loggerhead, and other turtles up close before they are released out to sea, and learn from the experts about sea turtle rehabilitation and ocean conservation. If you’re lucky, your family might even get a chance to witness a mother turtle laying her eggs or a turtle release in action.
Downtown at the Gardens
Grab a bite to eat and browse unique boutiques when you stop by Downtown at the Gardens with your family. This lively, pet-friendly shopping center features delicious food and over 50 different stores for the shopaholic in every family. Your kids will also love a spin or two around the old-fashioned downtown carousel.
Grassy Waters Nature Preserve
On a warm summer day, spend time outside exploring Florida wetlands at the Grassy Waters Nature Preserve near Palm Beach Gardens. Stroll along raised boardwalks through grassy everglades and see a variety of creatures in their natural habitat, from butterflies and birds to Florida alligators.
